Community football coaching

The community football coaching known as Premier Skills empowers football coaches to support children and young people in marginalised communities.

Since 2007, the Premier League and British Council have worked together to develop the skills of more than 39,000 football coaches, referees, and educators, working with more than 1.7 million children and young people in 29* countries.

*This includes Hong Kong, a special administrative region of China  

Premier Skills in Egypt

I have been practising football for three years. It became my passion, football made a difference in my life in many ways, I am able to meet new people and visit different communities. There were many people against the idea of girls playing football but there is no longer any difference between girls and boys.

Physical Education

The physical education programme, known as Premier League Primary Stars or Premier Skills Physical Education (in South Africa) supports teachers and other educators to deliver high-quality physical education and sports.

Premier Skills English

Premier Skills English supports teachers and learners of English worldwide with free and engaging learning materials that draw on the appeal of the Premier League.

Since, 2008, the partnership has supported millions of English language learners worldwide to develop their skills through a Premier League-themed weekly podcast and other engaging free online resources.
