The Premier League Primary Stars training concluded in Tamil Nadu with final course taking place at the Kongunadu Engineering College in Trichi at the end of February.
The training was delivered in partnership with the Department of School Education, Government of Tamil Nadu as the programme focus aligns with the state’s vision of fostering holistic student development.

Teachers develop their understanding and skills by experiencing the activities themselves.
Almost 60 teachers from government schools across the state have completed the training and are now equipped with knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver physical education sessions that help children gain the life skills they need to reach their goals.
These teachers have also received training on how to cascade the knowledge to their peers and will go on to expand the programme reach in Tamil Nadu.

During the final phase of the training, the participants practise sharing their knowledge with other teachers.
The final phase of the training was co-delivered by Chris Scopes, Schools Development Manager at Ipswich Town FC Foundation, who brought valuable teaching and coaching experience from his work with teachers and children in physical education and school sports settings.
