Syed Ali Akbar Abidi's experience
Premier Skills has had a significant impact on my coaching. By incorporating their methods, I’ve been able to make my sessions more fun, engaging, and focused on learning. The approach has helped create a positive and interactive environment, which keeps students motivated and involved, enhancing their overall experience and development in sports.
Teaching football to such young learners can be challenging but applying the Premier League Primary Stars (PLPS) methodology has made my job much easier.
This approach has not only helped me engage with the children more effectively but also enabled me to share valuable insights with fellow coaches, many of whom are primary school PE teachers. The knowledge gained from PLPS has been instrumental in enhancing their teaching methods, particularly when working with young athletes.

What I like most about coaching football is engaging with young children and helping them develop a passion for the sport of their choice is what I find most rewarding. Witnessing their growth, enthusiasm, and love for sports is incredibly fulfilling.
The training programme has provided me with valuable new skills and knowledge. I learned how to teach life skills through PE, integrating essential aspects like teamwork, communication, and leadership into lessons. It also enhanced my ability to teach a variety of sports, allowing me to create more dynamic and inclusive sessions for students. One key insight was discovering that PE can be conducted using a wide range of safe objects, promoting creativity and resourcefulness. Additionally, I learned how to make PE classes more engaging and fun by incorporating music and diverse activities, which has significantly improved student participation and enjoyment.
My learners love the sessions and are always eager to participate, never wanting to miss a class.
The biggest change I’ve seen in my learners is their increased enthusiasm for the activities. They love the sessions and are always eager to participate, never wanting to miss a class. The fun and engaging nature of the sessions has really captured their interest and motivation.
